Mr. Krenzien was born in Chicago, Illinois where he now resides. Mr. Krenzien graduated from the University of Denver in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management. During college, Mr. Krenzien worked at hotels in Berchtesgaden, Germany; Burgenstock, Switzerland; and Denver, Colorado. After graduation, Mr. Krenzien was recruited by Hyatt Hotels Corporation and accepted an offer as a Corporate Management Trainee. After successfully completing the one year training program in Long Beach, California, Mr. Krenzien was promoted to various Food and Beverage Management positions in a variety of Hyatt Hotels in Southern and Northern California.
In 1987 Mr. Krenzien returned to Chicago to join his father, H. Juergen Krenzien, at Paul Klein Travel and served as Vice President until 1999 when he purchased the business. Paul Klein Travel was established in 1945 and was owned by Paul Klein until 1967. H. Juergen Krenzien purchased Paul Klein Travel in 1967 and remains actively involved. Paul Klein Travel was a founding member of Allied Travel International which became Allied Percival International and subsequently Virtuoso.
Paul Klein Travel continues to specialize in upscale leisure travel and is a top producer for variety of well known travel suppliers including: The Yachts of Seabourn Pinnacle Club; Cunard Line Inner Circle; Windstar Cruises Star Club; Regent Seven Seas Cruises Top Producer; Silversea Cruises Top Producer; Crystal Cruises Crystal Alliance; Lindblad Expeditions Expedition Club; Abercrombie & Kent 100 Club; Four Seasons Preferred Partners, Ritz Carlton STARS; Leading Hotels of the Word Leaders Circle, Orient Express Bellini Club; Rosewood Hotels and Resorts Elite; and Sofitel STEP. Paul Klein Travel is a Charter Member of Virtuoso and has consistently been a Virtuoso Top Producer and qualifies for the Virtuoso Chairman’s Event regularly.
Mr. Krenzien has traveled to over 109 countries and specializes in customized travel planning with an emphasis on luxury accommodations and experiential travel. Mr. Krenzien is actively involved in many areas of the travel industry including present and past participation on advisory boards for Boscolo Hotels, Ciga Hotels, Ritz Carlton Hotels, Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Luxury Collection, and Virtuoso; and has appeared on, or been interviewed in, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Travel & Leisure, Conde Nast, Nightline, Fox Business News, Good Morning America, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, and more.
Mr. Krenzien attended the first Virtuoso Travel Mart at the Brazilian Court in Palm Beach and has attended the Virtuoso Chairman’s events. Mr. Krenzien is also a VIP buyer at the International Luxury Travel Market held annually in Cannes and the PURE Life Experiences held in Marrakech.
Mr. Krenzien was proudly appointed as a Virgin Galactic Accredited Space Agent, one of only 44 travel agents worldwide accredited to sell space travel, and is quite passionate about space travel on a professional and personal level.

Juergen was born in Rostock, Germany, which became the German Democratic Republic after World War II. He left the occupied zone shortly after the war and settled in Munich, where he studied History of Arts and Journalism at the University of Munich.
Juergen came to the United States in 1954, not necessarily on a permanent basis, but with the intention of getting to know America. After a few months in New York, he came to Chicago, where he worked at the famous Edgewater Beach Hotel. Looking for a job in the travel industry he was hired by the Chicago Motor Club as a travel consultant in their International Travel Department, which he subsequently managed for more than 10 years.
Paul Klein contacted him in 1969 to offer him a partnership and eventual ownership of Paul Klein Travel. The rest is history.
Travel is his passion. He has been all over the world, always on the lookout for new, unusual destinations and special experiences to recommend to his loyal clientele. Juergen continues to be one of the most sought after travel advisors in the world and his reputation for in-depth knowledge on luxury travel is unequaled. Ask anyone in the travel industry about Juergen Krenzien, the first thing you will hear is: “He is a legend in the travel industry”.
Juergen’s affiliation with the world of travel extends over 50 years. He was one of the founding fathers of A.T.I. (Allied Travel) which is now Virtuoso. He has been on the advisory board of many cruise-lines, hotels, and trade organizations, and is theonly appointed life-time member of Virtuoso’s “On-Site Committee” that selects ground operators providing top service to our clients all over the world.
One of Juergen’s famous lines is “Been there, done that”. He has been everywhere and experienced almost every worthwhile event any luxury traveler could dream of. His relations with hoteliers, cruise lines and other travel suppliers spans decades. Juergen has seen them come and go. He was among the first to fly the Concorde in its inaugural season. He was on the last sailings of Cunard’s original Queen Mary, the Constitution and the Royal Viking Star and has seen more airlines come and go than most of us have flown on.
Juergen has been an invited guest, since it's inception, to the International Luxury Travel Mart held annually in Cannes.
Juergen continues to be the most trusted advisor of Paul Klein Travel’s customers.

Russ was born in Long Beach, California and raised in Southern California where he spent weekends going to the beach and frequent family camping trips to the nearby mountains.
After his family relocated to Homewood, Illinois (just south of Chicago) Russ embarked on his first overseas trip to Amsterdam and Germany for a German high school class. Russ knew then he was hooked on international travel.
Upon graduation from Homewood-Flossmoor High School, he enrolled in a six month travel agent course and then was hired as a full time agent by Paul Klein Travel in 1977.
Russ has traveled to the South Pacific, Tahiti, New Zealand and Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Nepal, Africa, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. He has visited dozens of European countries and travels there as often as possible, most often planning his trips around the opera schedules.
Russ loves outdoor activities, biking and hiking. He is always in search of a beautiful beach. Renting a convertible and driving the ocean’s coast while listening to opera or classical music is one of his favorite past times.
Russ lives on the north side of Chicago in the historic Sheridan Park neighborhood, and will often weekend away in London or Paris to keep abreast of new exciting hotels, concerts, fabulous restaurants, museum exhibits and his great love, The Opera. Russ has the distinction of having stayed in every Virtuoso hotel (and others) in Paris and London...his 'second cities".

John is a Certified Travel Associate and a BritAgent. John has been in the travel industry since 1992 and has traveled extensively all of his life, even as a child, he knew he belonged in the travel business.
ohn’s favorite country to visit is Italy. Italy’s beautiful landscape, architecture, history, food and the incredible wine draw him to this wonderful country. He is sure to visit as often as he can, which makes his knowledge of Italy extensive. Two of John’s other favorite destinations are the game preserves in South Africa and the Galapagos Islands. This is as close to nature as you can get, and this is where John flourishes.
John avidly participates in travel industry training events and trade shows including the annual Virtuoso Travelmart attended by over 3000 leaders in the luxury travel market. With John’s experience and passion for travel, you are guaranteed wonderful service and expert advise on any vacation dream you are seeking.
When John is not traveling, he resides in Wrigleyville and is an avid Chicago baseball fan.

Ewa was born in Poland and moved to Chicago in 1999 when she joined our staff here at Paul Klein Travel. When Ewa is not enjoying her new house with her husband, she enjoys traveling to Poland to visit her family, beach vacations, and her love of skiing.
The beautiful voice you hear on the telephone is Ewa, and her administrative skills in the office are invaluable.

Ana-Marie grew up in Brookfield, Illinois and is now a proud resident of Chicago’s booming west side. Ana-Marie’s love for travel began at the young age of five, when her parents decided that she and her younger sister were ready for their first solo flights to visit relatives. Her parents are also responsible for introducing her to one of her favorite and most frequently visited travel destinations, Cancun, Mexico.
Ana-Marie attended Columbia College Chicago majoring in Arts, Business and Marketing. While in college, Ana-Marie worked at hotels throughout downtown Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. She eventually decided to leave Columbia and attend, then graduate from, Triton College Travel School.
After Travel School, Ana-Marie started out as a Caribbean and Ski specialist for Apple Vacations. In the past, Ana-Marie has also worked as an Italy, Rail, and Adventure Travel representative. Ana-Marie is delighted to be able to bring all of these past aspects of her career along with her exceptional ‘client comes first’ outlook, under one hat, as your Paul Klein Travel Consultant. When Ana-Marie is not personally customizing your desired itinerary, she is enthusiastically assisting and gaining knowledge from her mentors at Paul Klein Travel.
Ana’s most loved aspect of travel is getting to know the local people’s customs and of course, their cuisine. Some of Ana’s favorite trips have been whale spotting in the pacific, scaling ancient Mayan pyramids, zip lining through jungle canopies, and braving the rapids while white water rafting.

One could say that Caroline Chandra is always on the move. In fact, she’s been to, and lived, in all four corners of the world. Originally from Singapore and Malaysia, Caroline completed her diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management in Kuala Lumpur, and worked in various hotels, restaurants and clubs throughout Malaysia. During this time, she developed a passion for adventure and discovery while travelling extensively throughout Asia and Europe. In 1986, Caroline moved to the U.S. -- Philadelphia, to be exact -- where she met her husband Randy. They migrated west to Chicago where they lived for 11 years. Her family, now with two boys Cameron and Luke, moved back to the East Coast six years ago, before settling once again in Chicago this past summer. Their second home in Deer Valley, Utah satisfies Caroline’s love of the mountains.
In 1993, Caroline secured a diploma in Travel at Echols International Travel and Hotel Schools, Inc. in Chicago. After working with Paul Klein Travel for two years, she set out on her own, opening a travel agency. After taking time to raise her family, Caroline is back in the travel business specializing in customized family vacations.
Caroline enjoys traveling the globe, especially with her husband and boys, as well as cooking, dining with friends, skiing, music and her active city lifestyle. A full-time travel advisor and a full-time Mom, she volunteers at school, is a Soccer Mom and is a member of The Latin School of Chicago Annual Auction Committee, teaming with fellow Moms.

Dena has been in Sales & Marketing for over 25 years with experience ranging from PBS public television, the Cosmetics Industry, Public Relations, Computer Consulting, Event Planning, and Luxury Custom Home Building.
Dena has traveled extensively throughout the world with her family and friends. She has had high tea in London, shopped till she dropped in Paris, ate Sushi at the famous Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo, cruised the Mediterranean, dined on squid with ink sauce in Dalmatia, walked with the penguins on the Cape of Good Hope, made a wish on the Charles Bridge in Prague, sipped gallons of Vodka in Russia, purchased lanterns in Vietnam, went on Safari in Sabi Sabi, drank Singapore Slings at the Long Bar in Singapore, walked the beaches of Cambodia, visited the Petronas Towers in Malaysia, sailed the waters of the South Pacific, went swimming with dolphins, and ate her way through Italy, These are just a few of the life experiences she has enjoyed. Her wanderlust is unending, and one of her biggest joys is the big annual trip with Tim and their two daughters.
Dena is also the President of the Steven W. Reichert Memorial Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising funds and improving the quality of life for families in need, within the Chicago-land area.
